As a student in Maple Strings, you have the option to receive both individual and group lessons. I also offer an asynchronous learning model that may be suitable to your learning style. I teach students as young as four all the way up to adult, life-long learners. Times and pricing are as follows:

Individual Lessons:
30 minutes - $38

45 minutes - $54

60 minutes - $70

Group Class Fee - $20/month

Individual lessons meet weekly and group class
meets twice per month at Stillwater High School.

I provide a free, one-hour orientation with parents and a free trial lesson with the student before adding new students to the schedule. I encourage families to observe a few private and group classes before making a commitment.

A handout of detailed studio policies and procedures, as well as the syllabus, will be given to you and discussed during the orientation.

Asynchronous Learning
4 personalized lesson videos per month
$152/month

(billed at the 30-minute lesson rate)

Asynchronous lessons work through weekly video submissions shared using private YouTube videos. I create the initial video assignment, the student prepares and records the activities, and then submits their video to me. Within 48 hours I will create a personalized response video in return.

Who might be a good fit for asynchronous learning?
-Students on the in-person waitlist who are eager to begin
-Adult-learners wanting to learn from the privacy of their homes
-High school age students with inconsistent schedules
-Distance learners who live too far away to meet in person
-Learners comfortable with audio/video technology
-Self-motivated students

Who is not a good fit for asynchronous learning?
-Elementary and early middle school age students
-Kinesthetic learners
-Students who need in-person structure and consistency
-Students not wanting more screen time
-Students unable to commit to creating and submitting weekly videos
